Today I practiced flexibility.
...no, not that kind, actually. I practiced being flexible with my schedule and plans for myself and my day. This is almost ...maybe more... difficult for me than muscular flexibility, as I keep a pretty rigid, packed schedule and yesterday I had a two-page to-do list that only kept growing as the day wore on.
So, while I was in a 20-minute dead zone between meetings, I borrowed Jasmine's fire fans and went a-spinning. When Erika walked in and asked me to show her the move I was practicing, I did so - and verily, teaching occurred, and tricks were consumed. It felt GREAT to be in the position of teaching someone else anything on those fans!
Thanks to the one fan trick tutorial I've watched!

I did indeed get another 10+ minutes of playing around with my fans when I got home. It's the first I've used up the whole 30 minutes just playing with what I know or am interested in practicing, rather than going down a sheet of pre-planned drills... but I think the pre-planned drills are what made it possible. Moderation in all things!
